Greetings from the PRDMC in San Diego. We’re here to do training, demos on Quick Pledge and Pulse, answer your SoundExchange reporting questions and talk about all things Public Interactive.

We’re getting ready for the PRDMC in a few weeks. We’re setting up meetings, trainings and demos for our services. If you are planning to be in San Diego this year, please let us know. We would love to meet for coffee or a drink. We’re focusing on:

• Pulse, a feature-rich integrated email marketing solution.
• Quick Pledge, an online pledge system that has enabled stations to raise $20 million from on-line giving in the last year.

  Does your station stream online? Then you should attend this informative session brought to you by Public Interactive and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. CPB recently announced its selection of NPR’s Public Interactive (PI) to collect and report public radio music streaming activities to SoundExchange, a performance rights organization which collects and distributes royalties to artists and copyright owners. PI will serve as the central music stream reporting vehicle for all public radio streamers, including CPB supported stations, NPR, NPR member stations, National Federation of Community Broadcasters members, American Public Media (APM), the Public Radio Exchange (PRX) and Public Radio International (PRI).

PRNDI: NewsRoom Manager Angie Tung is excited to be at the annual PRNDI conference in Portland to update you on the latest projects and current initiatives.  She will share the latest Public NewsRoom improvements, as well as news on the Economy 2009 Collaboration.
