We’ve made some recent updates in Pulse and Quick Pledge based on your feedback!
Pulse: Improved Newsletter Saving
In the Pulse Newsletter Manager, we have added “Save” buttons on each page of the edit process so you can save your work after each step. This makes it much less likely that you’ll lose your work if you spend a long time editing different content areas, or run into computer connection issues while editing. When adding multiple content pieces, click “save” after each, and continue working on the newsletter without having to exit and log back in.
Quick Pledge
Installment Payment Options Expanded
You can now turn off installment payments only for Credit Card transactions, allowing them for Bill Me, EFT or University Payroll Deduction only. Or alternatively, you can choose to allow installment option only for non credit card transactions. Modify this setting in the Pledge Form Wizard under Installments section.

We’re pleased to announce that Composer Basic is now live for stations who are not Composer Pro clients to manage their SoundExchange reporting data. It’s been launched just in time for stations to use to deliver your Q4 reporting data (from within October 1 - December 31, 2009) which are due to us by Friday, January 15, 2010.
Composer Basic is the tool you will now use to manage your station’s contact and stream information with us for SoundExchange reporting, upload playlist and/or streaming log files, specify your chosen quarterly reporting weeks and access completed reports that we have generated and submitted to SoundExchange on your behalf. Composer Basic will also allow you to specify your weekly schedules to let us know what syndicated programming you stream, so that we can collect those playlists and integrate them into your SoundExchange reports. Composer Pro clients, rest assured, you already have access to these features.

What are the holidays without holiday savings on items that your station really needs? Public Interactive is offering a special discount on our SoundExchange Bundle – Public Interactive Composer Pro and Streaming Services!
This combination takes much of the pain out of your SoundExchange reporting process. Clients who use both Composer Pro and our Live Streaming don’t need to submit anything additional for SoundExchange reporting, saving you time.
The bundle includes Composer Pro and Streaming. Buy both and save with our special discount, for a limited time. Already have one? Why not add the other?
Resolve to make SX reporting easier in 2010! And with our SoundExchange Bundle, you’ll save, too.
Contact Joe Orlando, Marketing and Sales Manager, at jorlando@publicinteractive.com or 888-729-8809 and ask about the SoundExchange Bundle.

Composer Pro Launched!
Existing Public Interactive Composer clients were all upgraded to Composer Pro recently! What is Pro? It’s the same Composer Program Guide and Playlist tools (with a new look), plus the new SoundExchange Dashboard. The Dashboard allows you to manage your contact and stream information with us for SX reporting, upload streaming log files (if your streams are not hosted with us), specify your quarterly reporting periods and access completed reports that we generate and submit to SX on your behalf.
For nonclients, we’re also working on a simple slimmed down version of Composer, called Composer Basic. Composer Basic is in beta testing with a handful of stations. What is Basic? With basic, you can enter your Program schedule, so we know what syndicated programming you stream, plus the new SoundExchange Dashboard. The Dashboard allows you to manage your contact and stream information for SX reporting, upload playlist and streaming log files, specify your quarterly reporting periods and access completed reports that we generate and submit to SX on your behalf. We expect to launch in a few weeks, we’ll keep you posted.

In October 2009, stations that used Quick Pledge™ to build their pledge pages, collect funds online and monitor their online pledge activity raised $5 million online during their fall drive.
That nets out to 48,000 donor transactions at an average pledge of $104.
Contact us to find out how your station can quickly build, edit and manage your pledge presence with Quick Pledge.
