New Options for Quick Pledge Email Receipt

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

We have added more options to edit and customize your automated email receipt that is sent to the donor after they complete a Quick Pledge transaction.

Email subject line
You can now customize the default subject line of “Thank you for your contribution” for the email receipt for each of your forms.

To edit the email subject line:
• In your Quick Pledge administrative tools, go to Manage Pledge Forms.
• Click to Edit the form you want to modify.
• Then click the ‘Email Receipt’ link and you’ll see an editable text field for the email subject line where you can edit the copy.

Turn off the email receipt:

New Quick Pledge Option

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

We have added a new feature in Quick Pledge that allows you to turn off the automated email receipt that is sent to the donor. This feature was requested by several Quick Pledge stations that use the back office form to enter phone donations, and don’t want to send an email receipt for these transactions.

While in general we recommend leaving the automated email receipt turned on for most of your web pledge forms, the back office form can be different.

To turn off the automated email receipt:

  • In your Quick Pledge administrative tools, go to Manage Pledge Forms.
  • Click to Edit your back office form.
  • Then click the ‘Email Receipt’ link and you’ll see a Yes/No radio button asking whether you want to send out a receipt for this particular pledge form. Choose accordingly.

Pulse and Quick Pledge Updates

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

We’ve made some recent updates in Pulse and Quick Pledge based on your feedback!

Pulse: Improved Newsletter Saving
In the Pulse Newsletter Manager, we have added “Save” buttons on each page of the edit process so you can save your work after each step. This makes it much less likely that you’ll lose your work if you spend a long time editing different content areas, or run into computer connection issues while editing. When adding multiple content pieces, click “save” after each, and continue working on the newsletter without having to exit and log back in.

Quick Pledge

Installment Payment Options Expanded
You can now turn off installment payments only for Credit Card transactions, allowing them for Bill Me, EFT or University Payroll Deduction only. Or alternatively, you can choose to allow installment option only for non credit card transactions. Modify this setting in the Pledge Form Wizard under Installments section.

Happy New Year from your friends at Public Interactive!

Looking back, it’s been a very busy year!  We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and are looking forward to what is coming in 2010. To better serve you, we’re currently hard at work on the next version of our core platform, among other things. This new platform will make it even easier for you to engage with your listeners online.

Some highlights from the past year include:

Quick Pledge Drive Results

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

In October 2009,  stations that used Quick Pledge™ to build their pledge pages, collect funds online and monitor their online pledge activity raised $5 million online during their fall drive.

That nets out to 48,000 donor transactions at an average pledge of $104.

PRDMC

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

We’re getting ready for the PRDMC in a few weeks. We’re setting up meetings, trainings and demos for our services. If you are planning to be in San Diego this year, please let us know. We would love to meet for coffee or a drink. We’re focusing on:

  • Pulse, a feature-rich integrated email marketing solution.
  • Quick Pledge, an online pledge system that has enabled stations to raise $20 million from on-line giving in the last year.
  • SoundExchange Reporting: We’re hosting a session: SX Education: Everything you Ever Wanted to Know About SoundExchange Reporting, but were Afraid to Ask
    Wednesday, July 8, from 11:30AM to 12:30PM
Does your station stream online? Then you should attend this informative session brought to you by Public Interactive and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. CPB recently announced its selection of NPR’s Public Interactive (PI) to collect and report public radio music streaming activities to SoundExchange, a performance rights organization which collects and distributes royalties to artists and copyright owners. PI will serve as the central music stream reporting vehicle for all public radio streamers, including CPB supported stations, NPR, NPR member stations, National Federation of Community Broadcasters members, American Public Media (APM), the Public Radio Exchange (PRX) and Public Radio International (PRI).
